About This Item
New York: The Viking Press, 1938. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. Small Hardbound quarto. The second children's book (after The Story of Ferdinand) by this writer / illustrator team. Yellow cloth spine is a little scuffed and worn. Otherwise the book is clean and quite attractive. The dustwrapper is clipped at both front and rear flaps and has some small chips and closed tears at edges. Overall a handsome copy.
