Harper & Brothers. G+/NONE. 1897. Reprint. Hardcover. No edition/printing given. Good plus condition. Blk covers/gold lettering/details on front and spine. Spine gold is somewhat worn and faded from age. Some open wear/rub at corner edges and spine ends. Handling showing on covers and there is a thin white line on back cover. Could be paint. Front endpapers have many penciled last names. Rear endpapers have some darkening from a paper that was there. Text is a bit sheky from splitting front hinge but nothing is falling apart. Text is normally dark from aging. Minor foxing on some pages. B/w frontispiece is sketch of lonely road going into the horizon. Original protective paper still intact. Contents in three parts: A Young Man of Twenty, A Young Man of Forty, A Young Man Turned Sixty. ; 8vo; 339+map pages .
