A Civil War-era reference on government and voting, with documents - including the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution. Missouri Compromise of 1820, Fugitive Slave Law of 1850, Kansas Nebraska Act of 1854. Some loss at the spine ends, wear at the tips and lower edge of rear board, sweat stain in the margin of page block, light foxing. Binding tight, sound, text very good. Good. . 1st. Hard.
