Plates still in plastic kept in separate slipcase, so in effect two volumes included. Bumping to the book spine ends, minor shelf rubbing, some light spots to the top edge just showing in the top margins; plates slipcase shows a bit of dirt and light soiling to the rear panel top, not affecting plates because still in plastic, never opened. 'This volume deals with the geology and geophysics of the western North Atlantic, the basin between the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the eastern margin of North America. Although the book's focus is on the 'North American Basin' (Fig. 1), individual chapters and charts extend the bound beyond the 'western North Atlantic.'' xiv+696 pages plus plates. Plates kept in separate slipcase, so in effect two volumes included. May require extra shipping, 3 x 9 x 11.25 inches..
