London: Museum Press, 1957 First edition. Hardcover book . Green cloth, lettered in gilt to spine, and pictorial dustjacket from print by Mudge Marriott. vi, 288pp. With 18 b&w photos and illustrations in plates, including frontispiece, and 2 maps. History of sailing, navigation and trade in the North Atlantic; the author was an ocean sailor. Very Good book in Good+ jacket. Clean covers with rubbed title panel to spine, and clean pages, but browning to endpapers (offsetting from the covers). The jacket has wear to edges with small losses, mostly clean with some small spots, and light browning to spine.
