Weymouth, Printed and Sold by G. Kay, 1818.. Paperback, approx 8 x 5 inches. Brown paper covers printed in black on front. Sewn Binding. In very good condition. Rubbing around edges and corners. Neat inscription to top front edge. Some tanning and some mild foxing spots to pages. MAp with some minor tanning else clean and bright. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 71pp. With fold out map at front with later hand colouring. (Map dated 1817.) An early 19th century guide to Weymouth and district, with a brief history and tables of fees for bathing. Includes an errata note at p44, ‘Portland Lighthouse’... “Considered to be the best light in the English Channel.”
