Tiny stains on the topedge and cover, slightly sunned spine, near fine. Laid in is a 6 page copy from the *New York Supplement* regarding the estate of Chester Kallman. Also laid in is a small handwritten card in an envelope addressed to someone named Don: "Dear Don: Your CVV is a perfect model! [?] Bergers' thanks. Indeed for [your?] friendship, all my thanks. If AUDEN proves to be a burden on [your?] shelves, just pass it along to Beinecke. Since Ed Mendelson was a Yale instructor it belongs there too. But if you like it, cherish it. Five years' agony went into that one! [Svet?], Lola.
