Very Good/No Jacket. *1st Edition* Sampson Low, Marston, Low,and Searle.1874. 8vo, pp320 with folding map and b/w engravings throughout the text, unfortunately two of the seven separate engravings on wood are missing with some minimal cracking to hinge where they have been taken out. Hardcover issued without DJ. Half calf leather binding with marbled boards and raised band spine in very good condition with rubbing along edges and tips. Inside previous owners inscription on front free end paper, some foxing to plates and fold out map but otherwise very clean considering age. A very good copy of this rare book.
