Preston & Rounds, 1896. Hardcover. Good. Signed. This was the personal copy of H. P. Lovecraft, master of horror and weird fiction. Signed by Lovecraft at FFEP and at fly leaf. Red cloth with gilt spine titling in red leather title window; gilt titles to front panel. Cloth very good with light edgewear and age-soil; leather title window at spine is cracked and has one vertical line of heavy wear, with some letters in the author's name obscured. Spine square. Rear hinge starting; binding sound through textblock. No jacket. Pages lightly toned, text unmarked.
