Benton Harbor, MI: House of David, 1931. Account of the origins of this southwest Michigan religious commune, and life of its co-founder, published a few years after his death; today they are best remembered for their long-haired & bearded barnstorming baseball teams who toured the coutry in the 1930s to '50s, though baseball is barely mentioned in the pamphlet. First or early printing, dated 1931. Stapled pamphlet, as pictured. Light wear, minor creasing. Text clean; [32] pages, b/w photos.. Pamphlet. Very Good. 5¾" by 8".
