Limited Edition number 1,479 of 1,500 copies, nicely signed by one of the authors, Agnes Wright Spring in blue ink on front free page with book listings, 465 pages with index, comprehensive and detailed look a the Texas cattle industry from 1865 to 1895, also the impact and expansion into New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, Book is Near Fine, ultra clean light green cloth boards with bright gilt titles with grass illustration to front board and spine, tight and square with sharp corners, map end papers showing New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana in 1885. No previous owner bookplate or writing. Jacket is Very Good Plus or better, light soiling on rear panel, tiny chip to head of spine else near Fine, front panel illustration titled Beyond The River by Irvin Shope on front panel, price clipped, shows nicely in a new mylar sleeve. Very clean and most present bale Limited Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
