Introductory page states that only men"picked for character, reputation, ambition, physical qualities, and general appearance" are receiving this booklet and "if the Army did much for 'Cash' Wyble [the story's hero] - an ignorant mountaineer -- for you, a 'picked man,' it should accomplish wonders.
