The Bowen Merrill Company, 1898. First Edition . Hardcover. Fine. FIRST EDITION. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Green cloth cover with gold and dark green stamp on the face and spine. There is moderate wear to the lower boards, slight crushing to the bottom of the spine, and slight tearing to the top. Original bookseller's information label carefully applied to the upper corner of the inside front cover. Gift inscription elegantly written on the third fly sheet of the front of the book. Pages show signs of discoloration due to age, but are clean, unmarked and firmly attached to the spine. This book is in fine condition.
