On the front end paper is a nice hand-drawn ski-themed illustration.The contents are as follows: Skiing and Its Vogue; Modern Ski Technique and Its Evolution; Lessons in the Sport of Skiing; Ski Glossary; Going on the Level; The Kick Turn; Climbing Hills; The Running Position; The Stem Positions; The Stem Turns; The Stem Christiania; The Steered Turns; Stepping Around; The Jump Turns; The Selection of Proper Equipment; The Ski; The Bindings; The Poles; The Boots; Steel Edges; The Preparation, Care & Waxing of Skis; Climbing and Running Waxes; Waxing; Ski Clothing and Accessories; Trail.
Condition:
Light soiling to the covers. The back cover has a stain at the top-left corner, and foxing at the bottom half. Small cloth tears at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Wear to the cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. The text pages are clean with only some tanning to the title page from a "Ski Glossary" magazine cut-out left between the pages. The end papers and pastedowns have tanning; the rear pastedown also has some foxing. Previous owner's bookplate affixed to half title page. There is a nice hand-drawn skiing-themed illustration on the front end paper. Overall the book is in Good condition.
