Near Fine. pp 99 [1] A A Milne's classic of childhood bound in blue cloth with gilt decoration to the covers featuring characters from the books, top edge gilt, pictorial end papers and delightful illustrations by E H Shepard. The book is near fine, a little rubbing to the spine but otherwise the covers are fresh with bright gilt; the binding is firm, the pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. Attractive book plate and contemporary ownership inscription to half title. A splendid copy of this early edition. Near Fine 1924
