About This Item
New York: The Viking Press, 1934. FIRST EDITION. A neatly written owner inscription on the rear free endpaper notes the circumstances of Woollcott's death. Some glue residue on front pastedown from removed bookplate, else a tight, near fine copy with bright red cloth, in a near fine dust jacket with some tanning to spine and with a tiny chip at top edge. This trade edition seems less common than the limited edition done at the same time.
