The First UK printing published by Goldmark, Uppingham in 1987. The Limited Edition with this copy being number '73' of only 100 copies issued, bound in grey cloth and printed on mould made Magnani paper (There was also a Trade unsigned edition without the etching). The book has been Signed by the author and illustrator to the limitation page. An original etching numbered (73) and signed by Rigby Graham is loosely inserted into the rear pocket. Both the BOOK and ETCHING are in Fine condition. The etching is a reproduction of the B/W frontispiece. The book has been additionally inscribed (in pencil) by the publisher to the upper front blank endpaper : 'For Will Davies, with thanks for all your help and kindness, Mike Goldmark.Dec 94'. The book is protected in a loose acetate cover and housed in the publisher's black slipcase which is in near Fine condition. The author's first novel. Loosely inserted is the publisher's 8 page Prospectus which includes the frontis reproduction. The scarce prospectus is in Fine condition. Collectible. More images available on request.
