Portland, Maine: Chisholm Brothers. Fair/No Jacket as Issued. 1890. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall Scarce. Fair condition. Decorative covers are attractive with small stains. Contents are loose with waterstains to edges not affecting text, closed tears. Descriptive text accompanies full page illustrations. 10 pages of text and 16 black and white full page illustrations. The illustrations were connected accordian-style to each other but are now mostly separated into individual pictures. The Old Man of the Mountain is called the "Profile". Also included Crawford Notch, Crawford house, Wild Cat River, Willey house, Frankenstein Trestle, Lizzie bourne's Monument, Jacob's Ladder and Mt.
