London: George Allen & Unwin, 1961. First Edition 1st Printing. Soft cover. Very Good/Very Good. ADVANCE PROOF COPY of the first UK edition. Original plain grey wrappers with publisher's proof stamp in black on front cover and simple typed title label on front. Original advance dust jacket slightly trimmed precisely to fit the proof copy. The book is in nice condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, clean, tight binding. The dust jacket is quite nice but has some publisher/review notes penned to the upper front near spine (see photo). The book measures 214mm tall x 138mm and has 224 pages, 39 b/w photos. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
