First Edition. Near Fine / near fine. 15" by 24" fold out reproduction of the rock art in pouch on back end page. Laid in is another image of the rock art on heavier stock, 13" by 19". The original rock art is 13 feet high by 26 feet wide in a cave overlooking the Pecos River. Archaeologist and ethnologist, Boyd, reinterprets the significance of this prehistoric rock art. The book and jacket have very slight shelf and edge wear with no chips or tears. The pages are clean and unmarked as are the fold out images.
