Birmingham Alabama The Classics of Medicine Library Gryphon Editions 1981 : originally publshed by Thomas Purfoot ,London 1597. hardcover, full leather teal blue binding,gilt embossed and gilt titles,all edges gilt,marbled endpapers, ribbon bookmark, unpaginated, custom bookplate with original owner's name, numbered 232, subsequent owner's stamp to verso of half-title, and embossed stamp to original half-title page, also loosely inserted is 32pp booklet issued by the publishers " notes from the editors", *** note 1981 publisher's title page and preliminary pages of book have a small amount of insect damage, booklet has light tanning along spine edges, otherwise all in very good condition. No ISBN Photo of insect damage available on request.
