Boston: Little, Brown and Company. 1913. Hardcover. Illustrated cloth over board. Color frontis, three color plates, and many B&W illustrations. Good. Covers are heavily worn. Corners, spine ends, and bottom edges are frayed. Names of prior owners and "West Liberty, Iowa" penciled to front pastedown. Front free endpaper has been torn out. Small tears and wrinkling to page edges, but no writing noticed in text block. Sewn binding is straight and tight. 191 pages. 6 x 7.5 inches. Contains selections from such authors as Susan Coolidge, Laura Richards, and Mary Wilkins, authors whose stories for children are classics and who know and interpret delightfully the interests of the little people.
