Reprints the author's 1851 introduction to the first English edition. Non-authorial inscription on endpaper; light scattered foxing; hinge paper cracked [hinges firm]; a few signatures starting; corner tips, spine ends and edges slightly frayed, else bright and very good..

We operate an open bookshop in Tamworth, Ontario. The shop is open daily in July and August from 11 am - 4 pm. We also maintain a general Antiquarian stock available online or by appointment only.
