Brown cloth with black and gold impressing, pasted-on front cover illustration. Spine lean. Corners bumped, dents in board centres, chips to paste-on. Hinges cracking internally, endpapers foxed. Some stains to pages, esp. frontispiece, title, Contents, and first pages.
