Text is clean and unmarked in a square and tight binding. Card holder attached to a back blank page. Library stamp on the dedication page. DJ has a chip out of the top back inside corner. Price unclipped DJ has been glued to the binding. Two black and white plate sections included. Second set of plates has a stain along the outside edged. "William Buckland at the age of forty left his mark on American domestic architecture. Most of his monuments stand as strong as the day he built them, monuments that immortalize the taste of the eighteenth-century gentleman and the skill of a colonial craftsman." 114.
