Biography of William the Conqueror, covering the establishment of the Anglo-Norman Kingdom. Black cloth binding with burgundy title block on spine with gilt titles. Some scratches and scrubbing of cover with spotting, light edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped, light crease in spine, a little fading of gilt, former owner's address label on front fixed end paper, end papers spotted, interior pages lightly tanned and clean, binding tight.
