Scarce Volume Of Verse- First Printing, 1895, Of His First Book, Preceded By A Musical Score Published In 1888. 1895 Date On Title Page. Yellow Cloth Stamped In Gilt And Green. Signed By Author, On P. 11. Noted As A Book Of The Week By The Nation 12/19/95. Lloyd, Originally From Westfield Nj, At One Time A Leader Of The Comradeship Of Free Socialists, Was A Practicing Anarchist. Lloyd Was Editor Of The Free Comrade, Wrote For Benjamin Tucker's "Liberty", Was Known As The "Drugless Physician", Joined Leroy Hill On His Property (Known Informally As "Freedom Hill") In The San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles) In 1922. He Was No Longer An Anarchist, Joined A Religion, And Kept Publishing Books Until 1940. This Copy Is Internally Very Clean, Gilt On Cover Is Quite Fresh, But The Spine Is Darkened, And The Covers Are Dusty And There Is Light Soiling From Use.
