About This Item

London: Gollancz, 1972. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing. Hardback book is very clean and tight with the barest hint of lean. Boards clean and sharp, except for a very minor bump to the top corner of the lower board. Nice sharp spine ends. Text block has white edges, pages crisp and clean. Previous neat booksellers price in pencil to FEP. Fine condition. Jacket is lovely glossy and bright, with bold colours. There is very light creasing to spine ends. Overall a fine copy. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. More images of this book are available please contact us if you require them. A fantastic copy of this Gollancz first printing, by one of the classic authors, one for the Clarke collectors shelves.
