Condition: Very good, with just a hint of shelfwear to covers. Binding sound, no inscriptions. Loosely inserted are two letters from the author dated May 1951 to Mr Hilllier regarding his research for this book and a book Hillier was about to publish regarding Surrey watermills (Old Surrey Watermills, J.Hillier, 1951). Dustjacket condition: Good, with general light shelfwear and light sunning to spine and edges of jacket. 276pp. illustrated with 131 plates and 15 drawings and maps..
