Eaton's favorite in the series, this attractive work has the bear pair solving mysteries like the whereabouts of Little Bo Peep's sheep, who killed Cock Robin, and what happened to Cinderella's fairy godmother. 11'' x 8.25''. Original cloth-backed grey boards with color pictorial onlay. Color frontispiece with 14 color plates and numerous black-and-white line drawings. 178 pages. Light spotting to boards, with a few smallish patches of rubbing to rear board, spine a touch soiled. Interior bright, hinges strong.
