Volume VI: Finest Hour, 1939-1941. Volume VII: Road to Victory, 1941-1945. Volume VIII: "Never Despair", 1945-1965. Hardcovers with bumped and slightly rubbed foot of spine. Minor signs of wear to leading corners of some boards. Hardcover of volume III is scuffed and grubby with lightly worn edges of spine and boards. Plastic protected and reinforced dust jackets have sun faded spines and worn, nicked and lightly chipped lower and upper edges. Page blocks are grubby. Coloured heads of page blocks. Slight tanning to pages of a few volumes. Leading corners of some pages are creased. Faint traces of pencil on FEPs. Text remains clear, and binding is sound throughout. Set is very heavy. T. First Edition. hardcover. Good/Good. Used.
