So far as I have been able to establish this is the earliest biography of Churchill, written when he was in his early thirties, at the end of his first period as an M.P. (for Oldham). Hardcover. Used - Fair/Good: Methuen, 1905. First Edition. Externally: Somewhat grubby appearance but the front and back boards are undamaged apart from slight shelf wearand two or three what look like ink marks. The spine is darlened with age and rubbed top and bottom. Please refer to photographs. Internally; The binding is firm and the text clean and unmarked though showing signs of age on the edges. No marks of previous ownership. 16 Illustrations: All present in good condition, though two of them are slightly loose, but not detached.
