Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co, 1935. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. John R. Neill. 298pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] Pale blue cloth with a full-color illustrated label mounted to the front board. Title printed in black on the backstrip. Black and white striped headband. Blank self-endpapers. With moderate rubbing and fraying to the extremities. The "This Book Belongs To" page has been filled out with a prior owner's name, and the notation "Xmas 1937." The text block is very sturdy. Twelve full-color inserts (some bound in, some tipped in) by John R. Neill. This is the twenty-ninth book in the Oz series. Bienvenue p.117. Hanff/Greene 100-101.
