The binding is solid, square, and firm. The purple cloth is lightly faded along top and bottom edges. Text is complete, unmarked, sharp and firm. There is one smal blemish/hole (possibly a printer's blemish) on page 9/10 at top center within chapter heading otherwise the text is perfect and clean. Top edge of text block is dyed gray. The dust jacket is lightly toned along top and bottom edges. A bright, clean dust wrapper overall with some miniscule bumps along edges and two 1/8 " closed tears on front edges, one at top near center and one on bottom 1.5" from right corner. A nice mylar protected, giftable first edition for your favorite bibliophile or witch or both.. "First Trade Edition". Full cloth with gilt Lettering.
