About This Item

Berkeley, California: A Walking Stick Press Book, The Nature Company, 1993. This handsome Stated First Printing is without dust jacket, as first issued. (Initially, it was released in a box, no longer present, although later printings, I believe, had dust jackets.) The book is in Fine condition (click on photo). It has striated gray cloth covers, with titles in black on the front panel and spine. There is a paste-on illustration on the front panel. The book has decorative deep blue endpapers with a large floral motif. The binding is tight and secure, and the pages are bright and sparkling throughout. In addition to the text, the book is filled with stunning color photographic images and paintings of wolves in their environment, as well as in legend and history. The book measures 11 1/8 by 10 7/8 inches and includes 182 pages. Due to weight, domestic Media Mail shipping costs will be adjusted to total $4.75. International buyers should email me first before ordering to obtain shipping quotes.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
