London : Fisher, Son & Co., 1837. An attractive antique print - the magnificent Elizabethan house from the terrace. Engraved by Thomas Abiel Prior (1809-1866) from an original study by the gifted Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series of views "The Counties of Chester, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Rutland, & Lincoln Illustrated" (London : 1836-1837). Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 104 x 155mm (approx. 4-1/8" x 6-1/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
