Light indentation at upper edge of sheet from vintage paperclip and two small (1/2 inch) squares of adhesive residue at upper corners on verso of sheet - neither affecting the image area in any way - overall very good, clean and bright condition. Wonderful tone and color to this image of a seated man waiting for his wife, a vintager carrying a basket of grapes, plate number 37 from "Picturesque representations of the dress and manners of the Austrians" by William Alexander. The sheet of descriptive text gives information on the region and costume traditions (two-sided sheet with text in English and French). .
