Early reprint of original 1903 classic gardening book; publisher s original light green cloth stamped in white and dark green with floral illustration embossed to front cover and spine, gilt topstain. Covers and spine show minor shelfwear, rubbing, and bumping, particularly noticeable on corners and spine; binding is tight and square; all pages unmarked, lightly foxed; frontispiece has shadowed onto facing page; plates remain clean and bright.
