About This Item
Garden City, New York: Doubleday, Page & Company. Very Good. 1925. First Edition. Hardcover in dust jacket. This book is hard-bound in green cloth with gilt stamping on the upper cover and spine, in a dust jacket with light soiling toning, wear/closed tears to the edges, and with a single damp-stain spot on the spine. The covers show light toning, and light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and generally clean, but with light foxing to the fore-edge/outer edge of the pages. - From the American First Editions collection of Donald C. Scriven (1948-2019). Don relished points of issue and the primacy of the dust jacket but above all he loved the literature! .
