Significant for the final sequence of the Marmaduke comic strip which appears in this issue. Broadsheet newspaper segment of four pages measuring 480 x610 mm printed in colour; the margins are heavily chipped with significant loss, a fair copy.

Delightful dustwrapper artwork. Slight wear to the top of spine and overall light signs of handling otherwise dustwrapper remains fresh and bright with excellent colour tone. Eight page tabloid newspaper insert (305x380mm) printed in colour, a few marginal tears and chips but in remarkably good condition for an item of this age and nature (has not browned).

Parody of Captain Marvel, Jr. (aka Shazam Jr., Shazam Family of Fawcett, the DC Comics) and Sivana Jr.The story features Sivana Jr using "whore dope" to compel a woman to work for him. Marvel Jr. intervenes but is distracted and allows Sivana to go on a crime spree in exchange for 15 minutes with the woman. Ends with the line "Well kiddie's so this is Sivana's bargain--Do you feel let down by your hero?--Well 'Tuff Shit.'". / Yellow cover stock. Saddle-stitched, single staple.
