Mrs. Broadhurst was the wife of Rev. Thomas Broadhurst, and they kept a school in Bath; she penned pamphlets in favour of the education of women.A very scarce work, and a piece of feminist history. Unbound. Generally smart, with a little wear to the edges, which are a little age-toned. Binding is tight. Pages are generally clean, with age-toned edges. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
