Issued in conjunction with a 1987 exhibition of work by 20 Brooklyn artists. With an essay by Charlotta Kotik. The artists are: Francisco Alvarado-Juarez, Diane Bertolo, Michael David, Stano Filko, Glenn Goldberg, Gary Lang, Thomas Lawson, Valters Lindbergs, Irene Lipton, David Mann, Roxi Marsen, Chris Martin, George McNeil, Susan Wilmarth Rabineau, Dan Rice, Henry Leo Schoebel, Raul Serrano, Stuart Shedletsky, Elyse Taylor, and Christina Viera. Each artist gets a double-paged spread with brief bio, statement, and artwork samples. A well-illustrated look at the contemporary art scene that is part of the Brooklyn Museum's continuing local art effort.
