London and New York: Macmillan and Co, 1888. Leather. Near Fine. A Near Fine copy. 8vo., 640 pp., all edges gilt. Bound in burgundy cross hatched leather with title and trim in gilt. Leather on spine shows a slight bit of wear. There is a slight vertical mark on the front cover, like something was set on top of it. Inside the book is clean and unmarked. Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson FRS (6 August 1809 - 6 October 1892) was a British poet. He was the Poet Laureate of Great Britain and Ireland during much of Queen Victoria's reign and remains one of the most popular British poets.
