Strahan, 1872. New edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/not applicable. A handsome set in full dark tan crushed morocco bindings ( by Stoakley, Cambridge ) with a look of the arts and crafts period. Raised bands, gilt inner dentelles, lettered in gilt, aeg. Very good, presentable, clean and sound set. Usual foxing around first and last leaves. No inscriptions. The bindings lightly rubbed, a little more so on the spines, modest wear to extremities, all joints, spine ends etc sound and presentable. Vols I and II Poems, xi 1-374 pages, vi 1-293 pages; Vol.III The Princess and other Poems, vi 1-287 pages; Vol.IV In Memoriam and Maud, 1-311 pages; Vol.V VI Idylls of the King, 1-274 pages, 1-294 [ 4, 'To the Queen' ] pages.
