New York: New York Book Concern, 1875. Soft Cover. Very Good binding. Thomas Nast; C. S. Reinhart; W. L. Sheppard; Thoma. The Harper & Brothers editions of most of the major works of Charles Dickens, from the Pickwick Papers to A Tale of Two Cities. Issued with 70 parts in 38 fascicles by the New York Book Concern. Bound in the original New York Book Concern's blue paper wrappers. Conditions of publication, from rear panel: "The work will be issued in Semi-monthly Parts. Each 25 cents. Part will contain 48 pages of double column letter-press, profusely illustrated. The 50 cent Parts will contain 96 pages, with double the number of illustrations. No subscriber's name will be taken for less than the entire work." A couple of fascicles have covers which have been gingerly reattached and several have wear at the spine; in general they are in Very Good or Good condition. A nice and scarce item for the Dickens collector.~~The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club, with fifty-two illustrations by Thomas Nast (pt. 1 - 7/8); The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, with fifty-two illustrations by C. Barnard (pt. 27/28 - 35/36); The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit, with Fifty-nine illustrations by J. Barnard (pt. 35/36 - 41/42); Little Dorrit, with fifty-eight illustrations by J. Mahoney (pt. 41/42 - 49/50); Bleak House, with sixty-one illustrations by F. Barnard (pt. 49/50 - 57/58); The Adventures of Oliver Twist, with Twenty-eight illustrations by J. Synopsis

Charles Dickens (7 February 1812  - 9 June 1870) was an English author of many notable works, including Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist , and A Tale of Two Cities.  Multiple publishing firms have released bound collections of his works.  Notable sets of Dickens Works have been published by Chapman and Hall in a 24 piece set, and Baker and Taylor in a 12 volume set.
