Contemporary gilt-tooled sprinkled calf, morocco lettering-piece. Rubbed, loss to lettering-piece. Loss to FFEP, scattered spotting. The first collected edition of the works of poet Edmund Waller (1606-1687), edited by fellow poet of Elijah Fenton (1683-1730), containing all of the poems which had hitherto appeared, with the addition of four never before published. The various prefaces to earlier editions are reprinted. ESTC T116988.. First edition. 12mo.
