Philadelphia: John D. Morris & Company, 1904. Hardcover. Very Good. Arbury edition de luxe, limited to one thousand numbered sets, of which this is number 76. Complete eight volume set. Portrait and photographic frontispieces with tissue guards, illustrated from black and white photographs. Red, blue and gilt decorated title pages. Three quarter leather with marble papercovered boards and endpapers, decorative gilt-stamped spine and top edges gilt. Some pages are unopened, both volumes five and six have cracked gutters and are lacking the spines, edges of boards worn with some chipping of the spine ends, still a very good set. Volume I: Silas Marner: The Weaver of Raveloe, Scenes of Clerical Life, The Lifted Veil, and Brother Jacob. Volume II: Adam Bede. Volume III: The Mill on the Floss. Volume IV: Romola. Volume V: Felix Holt the Radical. Volume VI: Middlemarch. Volume VII: Daniel Deronda. Volume VIII: Impressions of Theophrastus Such, Essays and Leaves from a Note Book, Poetical Works. Scarce, *OCLC* locates only twelve sets.
