The word ''Save'' is written on the front cover, else catalog is clean. The selection of toys in the book represent the golden age of American tin, from 1840 to the 1890s. The book was written both as a guide to, and a celebration of the artistry and craftsmanship of the world's greatest toymakers. Many of the toys represented have never been illustrated before. It can be used as a guide to the collector, a documentation of individual toys and an inspiration to new collectors.
