About This Item
Pocket Books, 1977. Mass Market Paperback. Good. Book is clean with a square, tight binding and book has wear on the edges and covers, that includes creases to both covers and spine. This book postulates that around the 15th century BCE, Venus was ejected from Jupiter as a comet or comet-like object, and passed near Earth (an actual collision is not mentioned). The object changed Earth's orbit and axis, causing innumerable catastrophes that were mentioned in early mythologies and religions around the world. The book you see in the images is the actual book we have for sale. Why pay more? When you buy this book from us, you are helping to support a small brick and mortar family owned store. We have been curating our collection for three generations and currently have over 250,000 volumes in stock. Please feel free to call for more stock.
Synopsis
Velikovsky presents the revolutionary results of his 10-year-long interdisciplinary research into modern catastrophism based on eyewitness reports by ancestors, which shook the doctrine of uniformity of geology as well as Darwin's theory of evolution.
Reviews
On Jun 24 2019, a reader said:
My 10th grade teacher should have had me reading this instead of esoteric Shakespeare. Velikovsky's research is extensive and unrefutable, IMHO. A must read for anyone searching for the true history of this God forsaken planet. Question Everything.
