Burgundy cover with blind-stamped corner accents, fancy spine & cover title & green floret endpapers. The cover title may have been gilt at one time if so it's faded off. Nice cover for age with some general light soiling (spotting in places) and a cloth fray at the bottom edge of the spine. About 11-3/4 x 9 with 386 pages (or songs), and a rear section PRACTICAL METHOF for the PIANOFORTE BY LOUIS KOHLER OP. 249., MEMBERS CATALOGUE, books ads OUR STRING OF POPULAR HITS & INDEX. Pictorial illustrations interspersed plus frontis. Secure binding with clean pages, couple pencil check notations, and some mild page surface/corner creases. Overall rather nice considering age. Undated circa 1875. Scarce Americana music book!.
